    We stopped at the Henty Glaciel Moraine reserve and I saw these beautiful mosses and lichens.

    The spongey stuff on top is of the genus Cladia. On the east coast it's known as "east coast snow". There are a few areas on the blue tier where the stuff is like a carpet (hence the nickname).

    Thanks for the info Wayne. It is beautiful stuff. I like the contrasts between all the different species.
