Stopped at teh lookout above Queenstown to grab this image of the sun's rays highlighting Mt Dundas and the Dundas Ranges.
Anna,its a very nice photo and brings back memories from my time working on the West Coast. However, I think you will find the nearer rounded peak is Mt Zeehan and the 2 to the which are further away are Mts Agnew and Heemskirk.RegardsBrian
Thanks breggs. You may be right about the mountains, though I think you will find the pointy peak in the centre of the rays is Dundas. Heemskirk is much closer to the coast, which is way left of the area this image is of. Will have to have another look next time we are going through 99 bends, and double check my bearings.
Those rays from sunset look fabulous Anna. I like how the 99 bends fence shows you the way to the bottom. Well done.
