As of next month we will be changing the way we handle our Photo of The Month Competition, giving you a chance to win your very own photogrpahic "trophy"

There will be changes to the way the compeition is conducted, and these will be announced at the beginning of the month. All types of images will still be accepted, from anywhere in the world, and all members will still be aligible to win the trophy.

The "trophy" you will be vying for is shown in sample form below.

We will contact the winner to see what name they would like printed onto their "trophy", but as you can see this is definitely a "cup"

The winniner will receive the trophy around 3 weeks after the contest has been decided, and the prize will include all postage costs direct to you.

Stay tuned for further details at the start of the month to see how you can win your personalised trohpy cup.

Please note that the graphic shown as the "front" is for display purposes only. This will be replaced with a reproduction of your winning entry, and the cup is not for sale to the general public.

Looks great. I've actually been thinking about some similar ideas (for the BWT shop)... I might have to borrow your ideas.

Seriously, though I do like the graphic you came up with. I looked at the versions of it in the other topic, and it definitely improved a lot with each iteration.

Thanks Sim & Nik. This version of the cup cannot be purchased by the public. The only way to get one is to win through the monthly competitions starting with the next one in June. Hopefully we can encourage a few more people to participate.

Thanks Coop & Marks. Entry will be open to ALL members from anywhere in the world and images will not be restricted to Tasmanian.

I have been reconsidering the design of the cup, and am leaning towards changing the front graphic. This month we will give the winner the choice, but as of next month we will reproduce the winning image on the front of the cup, in place of the current graphic. This should make the cup much more of a celebration of the winning entry.

Participants should be aware that the winning cup will not be available for purchase publicly, it will ONLY be supplied to the winner.

Would anyone object to this?

Entries can be submitted anytime up until midnight on the last day of the month. Just send them to me as a private message attachment.
