may I just say to all and sundry (i'LL HAVE TO SPEAK UP A BIT BECAUSE POOR OLD SUNDRY IS A WEE BIT DEAF!!) that everyone in here is very polite, friendly and encouraging, may I congratulate you all on your exceptional manners and eagerness to help, may I also say i am very pleased with the way the site is steadily growing with more input from more folks, well done indeed! to all of you!!! very chuffed to be a part of such a friendly site, with such great folks,

I was once a member of another group whom shall remain nameless that did and still are doing nothing but cause trouble and is full of time wasters, far different from in here, an absolute pleasure to surround myself with serenity and friendliness rather than bitterness and squabbling!!! once again well done, you lot!
Be who you are and say what you feel, because those that mind, dont matter and those that matter, dont mind!!!

if you come across someone without a smile,.................. give them one of your's....... and watch it grow!

never be mean with a kind word, ........................you may need one yourself one day!

just as I get used to today along comes tomorrow!

Thank you Dave, brought a tear to my eye reading such nice thoughts.:D

This website has been a journey in itself and I constantly find myself trying to remind people that such a place can only be as good as the members who contribute. I have always wanted it to become a supportive community where people can feel safe and free to discuss almost anything.

This year has got off to great start and we certainly do have some fantastic members who are definitely helping to head this in the direction we always wanted to see it go. The thanks belong to those members, us admins just keep the spammers and trouble makers at bay.

Cascade.... there is an "Iron Lady" around here  where? I is now getting scared of entering the place in fear of her.

just wanted to make sure that admin and the fellow members get the praise that is so rightfully your's, not spoken of enough in this day and age,

Anna, job well done, a big pat on the back from me!!! and I am sure others as well!! not easy to keep drudging along day after day!! with little to no recognition, rest easy in the thought that it is appreciated, well done indeed!

Yep, same goes for me as well Mystic, I have to reiterate Dave's comments. All joking aside, I appreciate this well run forum. From what I have seen todate you run a tight ship with a gentle rod.

Thanks muchly......... Now we just need to encourage more of the other registered members to put in their five bobs worth.

Thank you Cascade. I think that as long as people are here, being active, it will become contagious. It is just a matter of keeping it up, and making sure the site keeps clicking over.

As I mentioned before, the site is the members, and the degree of community relies on community participation. We provide the ground, members have to supply the social network and information.

All in all, I figured it would take 5 years for this site to take off, and we are on track. But I would be happy if it took off earlier :P

Maybe these will work.

ROFL

I just spammed our members, not something I do often, but always results in people telling me to remove them from the list they opted into, even thought the instructions to remove themselves are included.

It does bring people who have not visited in a while back though. So, maybe between your fairy and my email, we might get a few more involved. Around here though the fairies only ever drink our coffee and steal our booze. :o
