Cool shot. Nothing says Australia more than these guys, I love them. They also appreciate good science fiction too, but you have to ask Shane about that

they are great little fellers, they never miss laughing at all my jokes which makes them alright in my book, good shot, not easy to photograph as they dont like folks sneaking up on them

Theres a pair near my house and they are always laughing at me.

What a great photo! My 10 year old is always taking photos of kookaburras... he just loves them. Great, as they are a much ignored but very helpful native icon. Hubby watched one snatch up a snake near our yard recently.. handy when you have children around!
