Hi everyone!!

Been a little while since I've been on here so just snooping round this afternoon catching up.

I finally made it to Tassie! Been in Hobart since mid May - got a job all sorted and starting tomorrow. Been loving having the fire going but not sure how my first morning having to get up in the dark and cold is going to go tomorrow - I'm very out of the work routine hah

So far really enjoying it, and hoping we can find somewhere reasonable to buy towards the end of the year - fingers crossed our own little rural paradise comes up!!

Ooooh I made a feijoa cake mmmmmm it was soooooo good. Except the feijoas were given to my husbands aunty for us and I havent seen any since :( one fix is not enough haha

Hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend and is having a good week

Off to catch up on the news
Steph

Hey Steph, congrats, good to hear from you again, you'll have to go around and annoy Shane and Anna, not that they'd mind, psst dont tell them but between you and me I intend dropping in when we get over there next, good luck with the house hunting, bag a big one!
Be who you are and say what you feel, because those that mind, dont matter and those that matter, dont mind!!!

if you come across someone without a smile,.................. give them one of your's....... and watch it grow!

never be mean with a kind word, ........................you may need one yourself one day!

just as I get used to today along comes tomorrow!

Hi Steph, good to see you finally made it, hope you settle in quickly and that you find a suitable location and place to purchase. I guess that depends on how far or how long you want to commute

Hope the first day at work went OK, it will soon be the shortest day, so getting up and going to work should become a pleasure, except when theres snow on the mountain and a steady breeze coming of it. Posted Image

Watch your wood prices and the ammount supplied, if buying, unfortunatly there are some shady backyard wood suppliers about.
If the price seems high or the load looks light when delivered ask them for a weighbridge ticket and get a proper signed receipt before you pay for it. Tell them you need the receipt because you can claim it on your tax retrun for office heating purposes. Posted Image
