Some very nice shots there Shane. Love the perspective on the Mt Owen shot from the airport. What kind of camera gear are you using?

Hi and thanks, i have a Canon 1000D with a tamron 18-200 lens, i have had it about 3 months but only recently started getting serious with it

Not too foul a unit, and a good lens with a wide range. I take it the lens addiction has not had time to kick in yet ROFL

Your shots suggest you are getting the feel of the camera quite well. Do you get out and shoot very often?

Not as much as i would like, with work and family i dont ger much time, Cant wait for summer

The weather around here during the past couple of months has not helped much either. If you are not busy Thursday night, the other Shane and I are heading down the cemetery to do some long exposure shots under a fullish moon from about 10pm

Thanks for all the comments, The last photo was taken on 1 minute exposure waving a torch around like a madman lol, very enjoyable and a nice pic

We haven't been out west for some while now but those great shots of Mt Jukes have inspired us. Very nice!
