Hi there. We are a couple who come to Tasmania every year for work and usually stay on a farm. We are expecting our first child any day now so are looking for a better living option this year. We are planning to stay 6 months- a year. Ideally we would like a granny flat, self contained shack, or small house for our little family. Some furniture would be a huge plus since we are not bringing much with us. We also have a very well behaved border collie. We are both in our 30's, very responsible and we own 2 homes in Queensland which are rented out. Any information/advice/leads etc would be greatly appreciated. Ideally the accommodation would be in the Huonville/Cygnet area. Thanks so much!! Rachael

Hi Rachael,

We have a 3 bedroom house on the waterfront in Castle Forbes Bay, private waterfront access, mooring, jetty, 1/3 acre 2 garages, nice established gardens, approx 35mins from Hobart. How much are you looking to spend?

Thanks Chris, sounds beautiful. But is probably out of our price range, we are looking to spend in the low $200's, although we would maybe pay a bit more for a furnished house.

Hope you had a lovely holiday season. Thanks again for your reply.

Rachael
