Hi, In two days, Christmas will be here from you as I do not like very much, indeed, not at all the business climate and a bit 'stupid that for decades now covering this festival, which, believe it or not, has a good reason other than deep for a party.
However, here we are using spend it at home, normally, with the closest relatives: this year I will have my wife's sister and family.
I like to cook and then prepare the meatballs to tripe (pig intestines) as a very old recipe, with raisins and pine nuts.
As always, prepare large quantities of food that we do not end for sure, and usually serve for another lunch at least, usually, that of St. Stephen, the day after Christmas, that here is a feast.
Christmas dinner can not end without the typical sweet Northern Italy, the "Panettone" and according to legend is the result of a series of errors of a young baker distracted by the beauty of the young girl uses.
Of course, wine, white for starters, red for lunch, where meat is served, if you eat white fish.
The cake was always the "Spumante" typical Italian sweet wine, shared equally, in its most sophisticated versions (Prosecco, Cartizze), the French Champagne.
All, however, Merry Christmas.

Hi Alberto,

Thank you for sharing your Christmas traditions with us. It is always very interesting to hear how others celebrate their respective festivities. I hope you and your family have a great time over the coming days and have a Happy and prosperous New Year.

That is a very beautiful piece of music. Did you conduct it?

Thanks Alberto. Agree with what Shane said above, it is nice to hear of other traditions. Also a very nice piece of music, is that Bach?

Hoping you, and all of our other members have an absolutely wonderful Festive season, no matter what you may be celebrating at this time of year, and that the new year beings joy and happiness to all
