At the end of last year I made a decision to start a 365 day project. I will attempt to take at least one photo per day and post it to the blog I have set up, just for this. I have called it Tasmanian Wanderings. It can be viewed here

Thanks Dave...so far I have taken at least one pic a day...tried today but the weather was not conducive to the style I was attempting. Need to shoot something though and will have a go a bit later at something else.

I'll still be doing the 52 week thing here...I just wanted a challenge to do something different. I don't know where I find the time either.

Time is always my worst enemy no matter how well organised I am. For me it's that time of year.... Picking berry fruits, cucumbers, tending the greenhouse and vegie garden, removing weeds adding water. All the broad beans are picked and frozen and the main crop of peas are also podded and frozen with another patch to be picked and dealt with this week. Tomatoes should start to ripen in the next couple of weeks, new potatoes are finally ready to start digging. Summer vegies are starting to kick of now that the ground is warming up. Parsnips, carrots and swedes sown last week so they will be ready for winter stews slow cooked on the wood heater. Fixing fences, cutting grass. And I have nearly finished my "add-on to the shed" project so I can get my boat undercover and a super secure section for my mowers and other garden paraphernalia which I needed to get out of the main shed insted of getting in the way.

I have still been taking lots of photo's when I can and have some 3000 to sort. Meanwhile, in between all that doing deals and buying and setting up computers and building websites for friends. Along with all the general everyday stuff that crops up, new power points here and there for the new freezer which we had to buy when we killed a couple of lambs as we had no freezer space as well as the relocation of other kitchen appliences.
I even managed to find time for last nights sunset.... :)

But as we all know, the list goes on, always gets longer and will never ever end.

Gee's... looks like I just started my own blog............ ROFL

Life certainly sounds busy, and you appear very self sufficient up there. Got a spare lamb???? ;) I used to have a friend who managed a property with 5000 sheep, fresh lamb every weekend was always a treat.

the shed looks good, even has its own little shaded garden I see. Nice touch.

Not too foul a sunset there either. had nothing but grey skies here when the sun went down last night.

PS: do people want the ability to create and maintain blogs here? Blogging facility can be added in if people would use it.

Haha... Your a laugh a minute Mystic.... The bit that looks like garden inside the boat section was dug out yesterday. It will either become storage or just a straight raised platform. I had to build that boxed section inside as I had to lower the ground level somewhat as you can see from the left hand side of the photo in order to keep the roofline at the level it is, yet still provide run-off in the direction it had to go. Since the photo, there is now drainage along the eastern side of the building. Which is the left of the photo. Two more jobs to do and then finish removing more soil while levelling the access driveway and it's then all done and dusted. Then I have to start on the Yurt............ So I have somewhere to meditate and drink Scotch when I get old, fragile & senile.:P

Well, I've never really been tempted to blog or I think I would have indulged years ago. This forum is about as far as I have ever gone to disclosing anything about myself. So for me I think Shane's method is the way to go. I'm happy to pop off to another link to peruse someones Blog. Of course other members may think differently. What ever keeps everyone here, happy and posting excellent and constantly improving photo's goes for me.:)

You are building a Yurt? Very cool :) I have always like the design and functionality of a Yurt, but be careful....they have a tendency to grow. ROFL
