Rules are simple.... I think. There are only three.

1. You must post a photo with exactly the same main subject as "Photo 1.
For instance  a blue tongue lizard = a blue tongue lizard, a yellow lily = a yellow lily, a church = a church.

2. The person who posts the 5th photo in a set then gets to post the 1st photo of the next set adding the main subject requirement. as a footnote.

3. A member may post more than once in each set,  but they may not follow there own post except when changing to the next set.

It would help further down the topic if sequential posts in each set are numbered "Photo 1",  "Photo 2",  "Photo 3",  "Photo 4" or  "Photo 5".

Each poster is welcome to make any comment  on the previous photo's or their own post.

Thats about it.

I'll kick it off.

It was taken in Nova Scotia where I spent 9 months in two hits because I wanted to have a decent winter.
Its interesting what a dry -24C does to persperation on the skin when your shovelling snow. Even more interesting to actually watch a small running creek freeze over.:)

ROFL -24 is definitely COLD :brr: I used to live in Armidale NSW where -12 was not unusual in winter, that was cold enough for me. One of my favourite morning walks up there was to head up the highway towards a small dam that usually froze over during winter. I would pick up a good sized rock and throw it in the centre of the dam, just watching the ice layer shatter. Picking up puddles and smashing them over a friend's head was also fun ROFL

I used to watch the pacific black ducks trying to land on a frozen dam just out from where I was working at the time, .....................now THAT'S entertainment!....................it used to "Quack me up" ..........sorry had to throw that one in!
Be who you are and say what you feel, because those that mind, dont matter and those that matter, dont mind!!!

if you come across someone without a smile,.................. give them one of your's....... and watch it grow!

never be mean with a kind word, ........................you may need one yourself one day!

just as I get used to today along comes tomorrow!

Interesting tree sculpture Cascade. Is that taken up in the north of Tassie? Seen a few similar type carvings in my travels, but can't recall exactly where.

They are the new carvings in the re-developed river area at Campbell Town. They are whats left of the big pines that used to be the shady spot.
