finished this one at 10.30 last night, customer wants to stain and finish off himself, I wish him good luck with that, I have 3 more to make then I can start on a couple of display units and a coffee table! anyway here is the latest, a bit small for me, comes in at 1.2 mtrs long! but the customer gets what the customer orders, rightly or wrongly

Imperfections only go to prove it was craftsman made and not done in a factory :) Looks nice Dave, when are you coming down here to create some nice furniture in Tassie timbers?

wouldn't mind a bit of Tassie oak or blackwood but not fond of the huon pine, too oily for me! I thought long and hard about the Strahan sawmill but when we looked at the figures there were too many "off" days! income not strong enough through all the year!

I wonder why my image has that "look" about it, bulging in the centre! never seen that in any other piccy's, notice also Anna I used the 50D, and to my surprise it still work's! LOL!

I like the blackwood and sassafras myself, also am not too keen on the huon, but the tourists love it.

That image does have a "fisheye" feel about it. What lens did you use?
