My weekend in Burnie and it's raining hard enough to be a river in the sky. I don't think I will be venturing out with the photography gear into this.......
Let's hope it eases and if it does at least the waterfalls will be good

Thats why they invented umbrellas and partners.
The umbrella keeps you dry while the partner gets wet holding it..........

Some, walk in the rain, others, just get wet.

The weather is all mucked up lately. I have heard a few stories around here from the born and bred locals that the weather has changed so much lately...too much rain, not enough heat...this is more like spring weather than summer. I suppose we will all have to get used to the changing patterns.

Well eventually got out and got some pics of Guide falls...... Don't know how they turned out had to do a dash as it started pouring with rain again
Went looking for Sanderson falls, any ideas where they are and how to get there? Read things about jumping fences??

Look forward to seeing the pics. I imagine there would have been a fair bit of water going over them.
I used to have the directions to Sanderson, but cannot find them. Have not been there yet myself. I beleive there is a way of getting to them via forestry roads though. Matbe ask the folks at the alpaca farm just up the road from guide falls. They should be able to tell you.
