Hey there!

The family will be heading over to Tasmania for Easter and the following week. I am looking for suggestions for an overnight stop (or two) whilst travelling along the Western Explorer. First night will be in Stanley heading for a few days in Strahan, the plan is to take some time and enjoy the drive south.

Looking for motels, cabins, B&B to suit a young family of four.

Any recommendations?

Thanks,

Mick.

HI Mick. The only cabins along the western explorer are at Corinna, near the southern end of the drive. There are no motels along the road at all, but the scenery is absolutely gorgeous so worth the drive. Have your read this post? It gives a little bit of info about the road.

Shane is right Mick, the only accommodation along the explorer itself is at Corrina, unless you want to camp out. You may find Corrina booked out for Easter though. From there to Strahan the only town with accommodation is Zeehan, which is about 30 minutes drive from Strahan.
