Possibly a good place to find these would be Tassie West Coast Barter/ Recycle on Facebook, though I would wait until you were here. Good luck

The best place to find chooks is backyardpoultry.com, check out their classifieds area and sort by TAS listings.
I use it regularly to buy layers and other poultry. You might need to travel to Devonport or Burnie though.
