I am so excited to have moved to Hobart almost 2 weeks ago now.
I came all on my own and don't know a soul here!

Hey Chook and welcome aboard. I suppose the only thing you can do is go out and find some friends in your local area. What sort of interests do you have? Maybe you could look into doing some volunteer work, I have made many new friends through joining the volunteer ambos, but there are other volunteer organisations. If I'm over that way at some time I would gladly meet up with you, but not sure when I am going to be over there next. And if you are over this way at any point please gives us a shout and we can meet up somewhere for a coffee.
