Went over to the Zeehan Gem festival thing over the weekend and caught up with Mick Thow, a snake handler and good frined. He let us capture a few of his snakes. Thanks Mick..had a ball...there's something about your snakes though...they seem to like me :) Here are a few shots...have many more to process.

Nice shots Shane, really like the way that second one came up. Have to get around to processing mine and putting a few up here myself.

Thanks Mick, had a ball with your babies :)

apparently we had one of the rellies of these blokes wander through our front yard the other day, .........a large brown,.......a passerby noticed him come in, ........have a nose around then go back out again,........estimated size around 6 foot, 3" girth!...........if I had been home he/she wouldn't have left the yard!

good pics Shane.......tame snakes make good pets!
Be who you are and say what you feel, because those that mind, dont matter and those that matter, dont mind!!!

if you come across someone without a smile,.................. give them one of your's....... and watch it grow!

never be mean with a kind word, ........................you may need one yourself one day!

just as I get used to today along comes tomorrow!

Thanks Dave and Mystic.
I particularly liked how the copperheads came up myself. Don't like browns have had a run in with one and that was enough...didnt get bitten but it was a VERY big snake.

Getting through my shots, but Snoozy seems to be demanding a lot of my time right now. Here are a few of the ones I took of the tiger snake, which Shane forgot to mention had only been caught in the wild the previous night.
