Campfire Banana Boat - This popular camping dessert is very easy, and requires no dishes - you eat it straight from the peel!
Ingredients
* 1 Banana
* Mini marshmallows
* Chocolate chips
Procedure
1. Peel back a 1 1/2 inch (4cm) wide strip of peel from the inside curve of the banana, leaving one end attached to the banana.
2. Cut out and remove a wedge-shaped cavity from the length of the banana.
3. Fill cavity with mini-marshmallows and chocolate chips
4. Replace peel and wrap well in heavy duty foil.
5. Place on coals for about 5 minutes.
6. Open carefully and eat with a spoon right from the banana peel.
Makes 1 Serving

The marshmallows are a new (to me) addition to this recipe. I used to do this on the BBQ at home quit a lot (but only cut a single slit into the skin and banana, not actually removing anything and only stuffing chunks of block chocolate into it). I don't yet have a wood-fired BBQ in my new house, but will try it with marshmallows next time I get the chance.
I wonder what else you could stuff into the bananas? Any more ideas?

I like the construction cam 
You could add virtually anything into the cavity, depending on tastes. For an adult variation, it could be interesting to inject a small amount of banana liquer through the fruit. (Something I like to do with Strawberries and Cointreu. Easy to do, just get a syringe & needle from a pharmacy, fill the syringe with your liquer and slowly inject small amounts into the heart of the fruit.)
