One way to learn about how to do something is to have it critiqued. Thanks for yours Nikki. So there is a difference between boring old scrapbooking and journeling? Didnt realize that, but then again I havent done a lot of reading about it yet. This on was a tester to see if I like it, and I do. (And yes Nett I'm Hooked)

To me the short answer would be No, Journalling is the story or text that goes along with the pictures, a lot of people use this as a way of putting what the picture means to them personally onto the page, I have trouble with that, so I use it generally to give the story behind the picture. I probably wouldnt recommend reading to much, let your style develop, after all this is to showcase your photos, your stories, unless of course your having problems with a technique, as in how to make something do what you want it to do......lol, ok its late and I have just got back from Hobart, so its probably not the best time to put down in words what I am trying to portray, but hopefully you get the idea....

Hi Guys, Your new site looks and feels great. I saw this thread and thought it was about something else.
Last year I spent time on Ningaloo Reef with an underwater camera. If you do it in Tassie get a good, warm drysuit, haha.
I was told about photobooks which I hadn't really come across before. Just for info only as I'm not out to sell or make money check out my book at http://www.blurb.com...m_source=widget
No plans for doing tasmainia again at the moment but we are heading to Ecuador in South America for 2 months later this year. Maybe I'll try digital scrapbooking with those photos.
My camera this year is a Panasonic FT2 which I got yesterday, I'm going to try some HD video with it and its an underwater camera too.
Not sure of your weather down there but were having pleasant 35 degree days here on the reef.
We hope your are both well as are we. Take care.
Peter and Sandy

Hi Peter, long time no see. Trust you and Sandy are keeping well. The adventures seem to be ongoing, that's for sure. Good luck with the book and the next trip.

WOW Peter...I am so jealous. Beautiful images. I especially liked the sharks and nudis.

Digital scrap booking is fun. you can even use OObs, which looks really cool :)
Hope you guys are doing well :)

I know what you mean about the cold water down here, went diving a couple of times in a 7mm farmer John and was still freezing.
