What you will need :
- A camera
- A willingness to venture out beyond your front gate
- Commitment to producing one photograph and post per week for 52 weeks from the date you start.
- create a thread that you claim as your own, this is where all of your photo's and jottings will be posted
- Each week you will go somewhere outside of your home to take a photo. It does not need to be an odyssey, and can be as close as the local park, something down the road, etc.
- The week ends at midnight each Monday. By this time you should have posted your weekly entry
- Along with each photo you post, you should give us a description of the location, and a few details about why you chose to go to this place, and maybe why this particular shot describes the location. be as creative as you like.
There will be no penalties for those who fail to produce a photo and post each week. The real challenge is within yourself, to see if you can motivate and follow through with your commitment.
You may start your challenge at any time, and you may use your created post in any way you choose to use it - you may like to make it blog style, for example, and allow it to become a more detailed journal of your year.
The term "photograph" is to be loosely interpreted for this challenge. The one rule that should be adhered to is that the photo must be taken during the week you are posting for, apart from that you may choose to manipulate or work creatively in any way you desire. Digital scrappers may choose to create a collage or such (in which case all photographs used must be taken during the week in question). The emphasis is on the journey, getting out there, and having fun.
If you have any questions, simply respond to this post.
Good luck and have fun.
Please feel free to make comments, observations, and maybe add extra info to the posts made here, even if you are not into the wandering challenge yourself.
