Welcome back Sim. Sorry to hear about your Pa, and hope it all works out for the best. Nice shots too, but definitely agree that chocolates would have been better. Can't take pics for security reasons??? What do they think you might do? Use the photos to plan how to fill the chocolates with explosives, or are they worried that you will capture the sopul of the chocolate and it will never rest in pieces?

Week 20

this week I didnt go many places at all in fact with this winter weather around its been a effort to get out my door , on the one occasion I did go anywhere it was out near Cressy again but this time i turned onto the right hand side of the Brumbys creek road a place I have not been before so i was pleasantly surprised to find a dam wall at the end of the dirt track I was driving along , no doubt many trout fall over that dam wall at different times of the year, as you can see the water was running very fast and well it was rather cold just watching it .

Nice shot Sim. Good to see that some places still have enough water to spill over.

Week 21

yay.gif I am finally caught up again lol,
This weeks shot was taken not far from home at all, infact you may see a few shots from in here as the weeks keep going because its one of my very favorite places to go , The Launceston City Park, and in this shot you can see the free big chess set you can have a game of any time you like , my children and I often have a play there when we wander thru the park , and in the background is the conservatory full of wonderful plants and flowers to take photos of most of the year round

Nice shot Sim. I love those big chess sets, they are lots of fun and add an interesting dimension to the game.

Week 22
Hi ho HI Ho off to the snow we go , well by now its actually went haha ,

we went up to the snow at the Great Lakes in the Great Western Tiers this shot is taken at Little Pine Lagoon as we walked down to the Lagoon you can see a set of tyre markings on the road , also if you look closely you can see wild animal prints in the snow too , they were everywhere and it was a lot of fun imagining what animals made these cute little tracks, The snow was a lot of fun we had snow ball fights and my daughter made a cute snow man and even layed in the snow to see if she could make a snow angel and yup she did it worked perfectly , we had a fantastic day out playing in the Tasmanian Snow

Week 23

Ohh poop I seem to be running late yet again ! ahh well better late than not at all me thinks ,
So anyway this week I havnt travelled far at all infact most of my transportation has been on foot , so as I have been enjoying the wonderful early morning reflections on the calm waters of the Tamar River I thought I would share with you a postcard of my 4 days a week walk into town and the view that greets my eyes smile.gif ,
a liitle bit of fog and smog still lingering over the Launceston basin but not bad compared to some citys hey ...
