All good fun Frank, she struggled a bit, but after Sim had drowned herself in bourbon, the task was easy.
Of course all of this frivolity must be blamed on Coop who had already marked the tree we should use out for us.

You know Anna its a wonder I dont have a leach bite on me somewhere ! Ahh the joys of the great outdoors .....
But in all seriousness what a fantastic wonderful place the West Coast is definitely cant wait til better weather to come explore again,
On my first night in Rosebery Anna and Margie took me for a drive down a delightful scenic road not far from where they live and I saw the most beautiful man ferns so big and tall growing on the side of the track we were on Coop sure was right when he said they grow big over West, huge tall ferns with lovely lush green fronds hanging down in the dappled light of the rain forest they live in fantastic,
and this was just in the first hour of me arriving wow ...

LoL Frank we were just having fun and I promise no tree was harmed in the making of these posts lol ,
Here are a few more photos from our camping trip , I saw some beautiful ferns and plants growing on the side of the road all over the place such wonderful lushness everywhere I looked ,
and we drove past beautiful reflective rivers with a gentle mist rising of the surface to give the eirry feelings of a new day intermingled with reflections from the trees that have lined the banks for hundreds of years
Then onto mountain ranges with fluffy blankets of clouds covering them to keep them warm of course ,
and this is just on the way to our camping spot !

Great pics Sim, and a lovely description. And just think, to the point above, we were not even half way to the campsite

We drove to many places that weekend and saw a great many things , but I guess the place I was really looking forward to the most was getting to the beach on the West Coast, I love all Tasmanian Beaches but had been longing to stand on the sand on the west and look at the Southern Ocean and I knew that soon I would be doing that at Trial Harbour ,
We dove past wonderful interesting places like Reece Dam and the Heemskirk River where we stopped and enjoyed the sound of the water falling over the rocks and the sounds and smell of nature all around us
Then we drove into Zeehan and stopped for a short wander and then onto the Trial Harbour rd , well what a little gravel rd that is and definitely not one to be attempted in Kia car by the unknown so it was just as well I was safe and sound in Jessica car and her wonderful drivers ,
First stop as Anna mentioned in another post was the Trial Harbour tip ! yep that right the tip , the people of trial have built there tip on a hill over looking what I would consider one of the most beautiful views you can see,
Well just the view from the tip was enough for me to want to see more and by now i was like a big kid just itching to get down there to the beach as I could see the white caps of waves from the view I had at the tip ,

So we drove into Trial Harbour and down to the camping grounds nestled into a side of a big hill under the cover of a Forrest of tea tree we made our camp site for the night , now of course I'm still so new to this camping stuff and all very excited but really haven't a clue what I am supposed to do apart from put my tent up , so I happily took direction from the seasoned campers who lead the way , I felt very safe in their capable hands .
As you can see they had the perfect little camp spot picked out for us , nice shelter from the wind and privacy also ohh and not to far from the public loo's either very important for first time campers when braving the elements
Ohh just incase you didnt guess my tent is the big one closest to Jessica car, plenty of space to sleep in LOL

Glad you enjoyed Trial Harbour Sim, though it is very hard not to like that place. That is our favourite spot when camping there, as you said, it is extremely well sheltered.
