We have made a few changes to the way the site displays. If it loads a little strangely for you, please refresh the page and/or clear your cache to enable the changes to function correctly.

The site is now optimised for viewing at a width of 1024 pixels, as opposed to the previous dynamic resolutions settings.

If the changes are causing problems for any of our members, please let us know.

Thanks sim, and for the Victorians the chat room is the one marked "Live Chat". But, us Tasmanians are cleverer and we use trillian instead

We ain't quite finished yet, the head image will be a random rotation of about 20 images soon

well how disgusted we are, all the lovely photo's of this area and you stick cradle mountain as your banner photo don't you reckon they get enough of the cream we have better views than a mountain just sticking out of nowhere in the middle of nowhere

LOL coop, there are another 20 images to go into the rotation. This was just a test to set up size. Please be patient. There are quite a number of west coast images to be used.

I will finish off the work on this tomorrow, and then each time you go to a new page a different picture should show on a random basis.

We are also happy to add extra images from members. Image should be 1020 pixels wide by 200 pixels high. Once the new header system is in place adding images in will be a very simple matter for us, and there will be no limit to the number of images that can be placed int he rotation.

OK I have done the work required to set up the rotation. There are now 21 different images that will appear. If anyone would like to submit suitable sized images for inclusion (1020 x 200 jpg, jpeg, png, or gif formats) please either post them here or send me a PM and they will be placed in the rotation. We can easily add the required text. Credit to owner of image can be given though please do not ask us to credit a website in that area. Will happily make a post to promote your non commercial site elsewhere.
