just returned from checking out the new ownwers of the pizza place in Rosebery.
As long as you have no worries about the potential for contaminated food and food poisoning issues, then this is the place for you. Personllay, we cancelled our order and left after watching both staff members handle food with bare hands, reach into cupbords and grab various utensils with out once washing their hands.
in 10 minutes of sitting watching the workers we saw them handle numerous foods, utensils, and other packages, without ever washing hands. Health regulations state that food should be only handled with gloves or unique utensils for each food type. Handling food that is spread over the pizza base with bare hands, unwashed between preparations is placing clients at risk of major health issues.
Personally this is one place that I would avoid and give my stomach a little more respect than to eat at.
If you are going to handle different fodds then you should at the very least use disposable gloves between handlings, and not go rummaging through cupboards in the meantime.
Any place that does not encourage their staff to wash hands between food handlings is not one I would visit again.
Rosebery pizza place earns our food poisoning potential award of the week.

Shame, I assume there is no other competition in town??
Some people just don't get it. Often see people with one glove on using that hand to give your change etc.....yuck.

Damn, amazing how sometimes we forget old threads.... I should mention that since writing this the place has come under new management. I have not been brave enough to go back to see if things have changed.

I went there in 2011. Gross food handling with people taking money and then touching all foods with bare hands. I challenged the owner who argued that soap and water is fine, but they certainly didn't wash their hands between each ingredient and definitely not after handling money. Also, given the poor food handling hygeine, one wonders what the hygeine processes are like after using the toilet. I reported them twice, but nothing changed and one of the workers told me it was never followed up. Will never go to Rosebery Pooza again.
