Luckily we did have a backup, though the bad news is that the backups are only done once a month due to the size of the website, and were last done around the 2nd of May. This means that although we do have the text of all your posts, we do not have any images that you have uploaded . If you notice a black space where an image was in one of your posts, we would greatly appreciate your co-operation & understanding to help us get the site back to the way it was before this disaster.
Where one of your images is missing in a post, could you please reupload the images in a new reply and either myself or Margie will then repair the original posts. I know it is a pain, and we really appreciate your understanding and patience with this.
Images uploaded during this month to the gallery are also gone, and it would be appreciated if you could replace them. Thank you.
Arcade players.... good and bad news for you. We have restored the main part of the site, but the arcade will take a little longer to rebuild. There are over 20,000 files that make up the arcade and our FTP client is currently working to restore them. It took 10 hours to upload the 5,000+ files that make up the rest of the site, so a little more patience please while we get the arcade back up and running.
I was working until 5am to get things sorted out and have only had about 3 hours sleep in order to try and get this site fixed as quickly as possible. Thank you to the concerned member who telephoned this morning to find out what had happened. Nice to know people do care, even if I was dead on my feet at the time LOL
Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this crash has caused you. Time to rebuild and keep growing
