Hi,

Has anyone being to Toro's on York ?

We will be in the Launceston area 01/10/08, thinking of going to this restaurant for our 25th wedding anniversary celebration as we love spanish food.

Hoping someone has been there and can share their experience.

Are there any other spanish/Mexican restaurants ?

cheers

Hi Bizarre,

Sorry but I haven't done a lot of travelling up that way so don't know what the restaurant is like, maybe some of our members who live up that way can fill you in on it.

Sorry, haven't been there since it was a Chinese restaurant several years ago.  But if you PayPal me $50, I'll take my wife out there tonight, and let you know what it's like tomorrow.  wink.gif

As for Mexican, there's the Prickly Cactus on the corner of Paterson and George Streets (I think they're still there).
