One year old today

Although you may be a quiet bunch most of the time, it is hard to believe just how much this site has grown in the past year. Thank you all for developing this framework, which is becoming a great knowledge base about all things Tasmania.

When we started last year, the site comprised 1200 files in 120 directories, for a total size of 13.7 Mb. Today it stands at 23,876 files in 1,210 directories for a massive 3.3 gigabytes!!!

While it may appear the site is quiet most of the time, we average around 100 unique visitors each day, most of those arriving here via google searches, looking for information about Tasmania. For many people this site provides answers every day.

Hopefully, the next year will see us develop the knowledge base even more.

Happy birthday to us hip hip hooray since joining this site i have learnt so much more about Tasmania than I ever did and have gained a even bigger and better love for this amazing Island I call home , so thank you for Real Tasmania Anna and Margie
