This is Australia, and it is the middle of summer. Most Australians are probably enjoying the warmth of the sun, and those in the north are likely to be escaping the heat.
No surprise then, that down here in Tasmania I can look outside and see that now the clouds have lifted a little off our mountain, that quite a large drop of snow has fallen throughout the morning.
No wonder we are freezing!

Hmmm I wonder if we really do live on the same island after all,
outside my backdoor is sunshiney goodneyy bee's buzzing in the flowers and the warmth of the sun is lovely a mild 18.degrees c

Hi
We have been getting some really hot days up here (NSW Central Coast) and a few cooler days to break it up which is not too bad as at least we are getting time to recover from the really hot days and get a good nights sleep here and there. Can't say I will miss this kind of weather though when we move down in 2 weeks time !!!!!!!!
Hope you have a great New Year and hope to catch up with you when we have settled in
(still madly packing !!!)
