Hello -

I'm seriously considering buying some land down in Tasmania at some point. I was there in 1996 for 1 month basically hiking non-stop.

I have a home here in Seattle and wouldn't mind swapping homes for a spell. You live in my home and we in yours.

Home would have to be kid friendly as ours is. We have three, pretty good, boys.

If not home swapping - no problem - love to get great tips on what places to stay while there - best family spots. Last time I was there I stayed in youth hostels.

Sounds like an excellent offer on the house swap, and I am certain that anyone with travel plans to the USA would have to be more than interested. Please be careful (both yourself, and anyone planning on responding to this), it is your home and I would hate to think that this arrangement resulted in loss to either party.

How long are you planning to stay when you come down here? The kinds of things you are hoping to see during the trip will decide a lot of your itinerary whilst here, and the accommodation options that might be available to you. Most places have a range of Bed & Breakfast's to fit almost any budget.
