Must say a huge WELL DONE to Shane on his recent accomplishment as the winner of the Annual Rosebery Photographic Contest. yay.gif yay.gif yay.gif

With about 60 entries and much of the community voting on the competition organised through the local Neighbourhood Centre, he fought off some stiff competition to win when voting closed today.

Second place in the competition went to yours truly with the image below, hopefully Shane will share his winning image here.

To be honest, I said to him the moment he entered that image that he would win, so the result is no surprise to me, but also very nice that we took the top two placings between us yay.gif

Thank you. It would be good to see other communities do this sort of thing, would bring a sense of community pride and togetherness back to society. Plus you never know where the good photographers hide out LOL smile.gif

Thank you kindly. Also have to agree with Shane, it would be good to see more communities organising these local comps
