Lovely set, Mystic!
Favourites would be - the butterfly, the shell - which looks fab with the black background, the sunset - which has to be my favourite view of Queenstown, to date! Lol

Thanks Natalie. The black background was achieved through low light. The shot was taken after sunset, indoors, with the shell place on a mirror and shaded from any direct light.

WEEK 51
Personally I would like to forget this past week had ever happened, but unfortunately my time machine seems to be broken.
Light on blackberry leaves

Dandelion

Liked the way the setting sun was casting light on this wall and window

The next few are taken along a walking track along Newall Creek, just south of Queenstown

On the way home we found Bob

Hope everyone has a good and safe festive season.

WEEK 52
the last set for this thread, and I finally managed to keep it up for the entire 52 weeks for once
Yesterday, as I stood in the back yard waiting for Shane to pull up, I felt something brushing over my cheek. Ignored it for a minute, thinking it was a fly, then decided to brush it away. This is what fell to the ground

A couple of flowers

To go with the fresh strawberries and trifle yesterday, Shane & I picked a couple of handfuls of plump, fresh raspberries

Hope everyone had a great day yesterday, and that your belly was as full as mine by the end of it. Have a happy and safe New Year filled with happiness and dreams coming true.

You only got the raspberries cos the birds did'nt want them Shane ... You might want to snip that part off that you photographed and burn it or bin it Mystic plus any more like it.. or it will travel through the rest of your remaining healthy plants before the season finishes, the leaves will also fall and create the same problem for you next year..
Yep...that sure was a nice supriser... ooops ..I mean a nice spider...

Some, walk in the rain, others, just get wet.

Thanks Cascade, and thanks for the tip about the raspberry plants. They are growing down at Shane's place. Doing a day of yard work down there later in the week, might include trimming the canes at the same time.
