Hi again all.

This really is a fun project. I love getting out and about with the camera, even if it is just around Rosebery. I'm looking forward to completing another 52 weeks of photos for you all to see.

WEEK 1

This week has been spent in quite a few different places, so it was definitely hard to choose just one photo. I have been taking Anna to Queenstown, and on most trips we stopped somewhere different to take shots. This week will showcase a few spots between Rosebery and Queenstown. Enjoy and have a great week smile.gif

Lovely photos. The cascade makes me want to grab the bathers and jump in.

Thanks Anna. i don't think it is going to be just one photo per week biggrin.gif

Thanks Tess. There are signs around saying that the water is not fit for swimming.

WEEK 2

There have been bush fires burning in the area for the last couple of weeks and the skies have been filled with smoke. After a bit of rain I did manage to get out and about and get some shots. This week my shots come from around Rosebery and include a smoky sky, Mt Murchison in the late afternoon and a couple from the Mt Murchison Track, which I walked part of yesterday, you can read about it here

Enjoy and I hope you all have a great week smile.gif

WEEK 4

It's been a busy week. I spent a few days in Queenstown and also in Rosebery. This weekend is the Rosebery Folk festival, so I have have been out and about a bit seeing different things. Last night I watched the fireworks display and got a few shots and today I went up to the park to check out the stalls. Mick Thow was there with his reptilian friends and I managed to get a few shots of them as well. Thanks Mick, had fun.
Enjoy.

WEEK 5

It has been a very busy week, with moving house and everything associated with that. I am glad it is over, now I can get back into doing the stuff that needs to be done and also some photography. I did manage to get quite a few shots this week, from Rosebery and Queenstown. Enjoy the scenery through my eyes.

WEEK 6

This week was spent unpacking mostly, although I did get out for a bit of a wander around town to see what was what...many more of those to come I think smile.gif I also had to go to Rosebery and snapped a few shots there as well as stopping at the Henty River on the way home, gorgeous little place. I would love to take a wander along the river and see whats further along it in the future some time.

Enjoy :-)

Again, if I had to pick just one from this lot so far - it would be the gorgeous, moody shot of the wren.

Love the way the sky colours build from a pale mauve, through steely blue to a thunderous grey... which feels like it is ready to pounce! And yet, there is sunlight on the bird - its damp feathers are fluffed to catch the perhaps fleeting warmth.

Please do keep them coming! smile.gif

Oooo... I'm so jealous of how much water is flowing over the falls compared to when we were there!

Gorgeous photo of Nelson Falls, Shane!

And that's only half of it LOL. Thank you Natalie smile.gif We went back again today and there was nowhere near as much water going over the falls as there was only a few days ago.

WEEK 8

I wandered far and wide this week taking in a bit of the west coast. First it was off to Nelson Falls again, love that spot, then a bit around town, when it wasn't raining, and then also over to Rosebery. Most of the week has been wet so not too much chance of photography. You can see some shots from Nelson falls here

Enjoy and have a good week.

WEEK 9

Well the rainy season has started. I haven't wandered too far this week, and haven't taken a lot of photos. Got out the Mt Jukes Rd on Thursday, its a beautiful run, with heaps of scenery to see, I also went for a bit of a wander around town. Enjoy the scenery smile.gif
