Very well said. I think it is settled that once Joss & Di return from the mainland we all invade Derby bearing cases of beer for a great weekend.

Whilst I probably should apologise to Natalie for the hijacking of her thread regarding her experiences of northern Australia, I really do kind of like how we have managed to take a discussion on Magnetic Island to the logical conclusion of a get together in Tasmania.

Nice shot Per. Even though they do cause a fair amount of damage, and would have to be one of the noisiest birds around, I do like these.

They are lovely to watch when they fly by in a large raucous flock. I love them, even though they can be destructive by human standards.

Thought it odd that the butterfly would choose to rest so close to a foe.

Now we've just got the rain... rain... rain. Suppose I shouldn't complain, as it is keeping the waterfall topped up.

This week's shots are from Alma Bay, five minutes down the road from where I live. The thing Maggie is famous for - is the Hoop Pines and granite boulders that fringe our shores... so here are a few examples:
